The Mayor’s Business Awards are just two weeks away and this year for the first time everybody can keep across all the action live.

Ethan Crown, of South Wootton company Social Plugged, will be live streaming the presentations on Facebook Live for people to watch at home.

Mr Crown is one of the finalists on the evening, nominated in the Innovator of the Year category - so who knows he may even be filming himself being presented with an award by sponsors NWES.

More details of how to watch the presentation evening will be given out before the event on Friday, March 3, at the Alive Corn Exchange in Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place.

Yesterday saw voting close on the final category to be judged – in this case by you the Lynn News readers.

The Community Event category takes nominations for the favourite free event held in West Norfolk during 2016.

There were nine nominations, Hunstanton Carnival, Festival Too, Heritage Open Day, Fairytales and Legends, Mods and Rockers, Hanseatic Waterski Race, Downham Games, Vancouver Quarter Christmas Grotto and the Vancouver Quarter Halloween Spooktacular.

Voting has been brisk with everybody getting some support – but who has won out? All will be revealed on March 3.
