Memories of Lynn - to see booklet, click here

WILLIAM Armes was King’s Lynn’s very own history man. As well as being a 19th Century mariner, businessman and socialite, he wrote moving accounts of the happenings of the day and his lectures and talks on history were standing-room only affairs.

His writings appeared in the Lynn News and Advertiser in the mid 1800s and now, for the first time, we are able to publish some of his large volume work as an e-book.

Our thanks to Rosemary Bryan for her invaluable assistance in making this happen.
