Stoke Ferry Agricultural Society’s annual dinner was held at Downham Town Hall on Friday, attended by more than 120 members and guests.
South West Norfolk MP Elizabeth Truss, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, was the guest speaker and trophy winners who received their awards included Bill Legge, David Eyles and Robert Smart.
The raffle raised £745 to be split between two charities, East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. Luke Lockhart, society spokesman, said it was an entertaining evening with the chance to catch up with old friends.
