An expanding Swaffham day centre will be able to buy vital new kitchen equipment thanks to a donation from the Necton Sports and Social Club.
The club raised £250 for the Merle Boddy Centre, which offers day care for people with a range of mental health conditions, during a recent tournament.
And centre manager Georgina Bell said the cash will be used to purchase a new fridge and freezer for the centre’s kitchen.
She said: “These items are much needed due to the fact that we are now much busier, as we have recently increased our opening days to five days a week and are having so many more clients attending.”
Anyone interested in finding out more about the centre’s services should phone 01760 724527.
