Two Lynn homeowners were given a nasty start to the New Year when they were targeted by burglars.
Police are now appealing for information about the two burglaries, which both happened on Friday, January 2.
The first happened between 4am and 7.30am when burglars gained entry into a home in Weedon Way and stole a number of tools including drills, a grinder, saws, a trolley jack and spanners.
In a separate incident, a property was broken into in Kings Green between 7.20pm and 7.30pm.
The occupant was alerted to a noise at the door and on further inspection found a man acting suspiciously. The man fled and the occupant found some damage to the door. Nothing was stolen.
The male suspect is described as 5ft 5ins tall and wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone with information about either incident should contact DC Chris Parnham at Lynn CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
