A TEACHER died after being exposed to asbestos, an inquest has been told.

Kenneth Wright, 76, of Birchfield Road, Nordelph, died in Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital on August 8.

An inquest held at the Lynn county court yesterday heard that Mr Wright, who was born in West Ham, had been working in a primary school when he had been exposed to asbestos. The cause of death was given as malignant mesothelioma.

Coroner William Armstrong returned a verdict of death from an industrial disease.
