Almost 100 supporters, aged from two to 82, gathered for a Carol Service held at the Magpie Centre, home of West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled Association, near Stow Bardolph.

The service, led by Father Alan Davies, included a performance by the Nelson Academy choir, Downham, which proved very popular. Audience participation was the order of the day, with children of all ages singing and waving placards to illustrate the Twelve Days of Christmas, and the event closed with mulled wine or apple juice and mince pies for all.
