A Pirates versus Knights day at Lynn’s True’s Yard has been hailed as a huge success by organisers.
The day was focused on the origins of the original Hanseatic League which was formed in part to protect themselves and their cargoes from the threat of piracy.
During the day there were a series of activities, ran by costumed volunteers throughout the museum, which encouraged the children to learn about the history of piracy and the Teutonic Knights.
Museum manager Lindsey Bavin said: “We were absolutely delighted by the turn out and the children seemed to really enjoy themselves.
“We shall certainly be hosting this type of event again.”
Youngsters enjoy lots of fun at the pirates versus knights day at Lynn’s True’s Yard during the weekend.
