Education leaders in Hunstanton have called for people interested in becoming school governors to come forward.
The appeal has been launched ahead of the merger of the Hunstanton Infant and Redgate Junior schools to form a single Hunstanton Primary School this September.
Officials say applicants should ideally have some previous experience in education or business and finance in order to help senior managers develop the school’s long-term strategy.
They say governors should expect to commit an average of three evenings per half-term, plus a full day school visit per term, to the role.
Anyone interested in the role is asked to contact headteacher Nigel Harvey by phoning 01485 533373 or emailing email@example.com, no later than Friday, June 19.
