Ahead of next weekend’s Easter break, health chiefs in West Norfolk have urged patients to make sure they have the medications they need.

The plea has been issued as part of the ongoing Choose Me Not A&E campaign, which aims to ensure patients go to the right NHS service for their query and avoid unnecessary hospital visits.

Dr Ian Mack, chairman of the borough’s clinical commissioning group (CCG), said people with long-term prescriptions should collect them as soon as possible.

He added: “Choosing the right place to go for treatment will ensure that you get the right care, as soon as possible.”
