Police appeal after boy, 11, approached in Dersingham by man

Police in Dersingham are appealing for information after an 11 year-old boy was approached by a man who is thought to be in his 70s.

The youngster was approached in Hipkin Road, Dersingham, at about 5.30pm on Wednesday, May 14, when the man tried to strike up a conversation.

Insp Debbie Gunnill said: “Investigations are ongoing into this incident and we are obviously keen to identify the male involved. “The boy behaved in the right way by not engaging in conversation with the man, he then went straight home to inform an adult what had happened.”
