Police are appealing for more information after men approached by men in two different West Norfolk villages.

Officers are not linking the incidents which happened in Dersingham and Narborough on Wednesday last week.

Two men called for the boy to get into a white Volkswagen Scirocco outside Narborough Community Centre at about 6.15pm. He did not get into the car.

An 11-year-old was approached by a man, thought to be in his 70s, in Hipkin Road, Dersingham, at about 5.30pm. The man tried to strike up a conversation with the youngster, who went straight home.

Insp Debbie Gunnill is appealing for help.

She said: “Investigations are ongoing into this incident and we are obviously keen to identify the man involved. The boy behaved in the right way by not engaging in conversation with the man, he then went straight home to inform an adult what had happened.”

Anyone with information on either incident should call PC Maria Lambert at Deringham Police Station on 101.
