Police have appealed for people who helped at the scene of a crash in which an elderly man died last week to come forward.
Emergency crews were called to Highfield Road, Fakenham at around 11am on Thursday, following reports that a Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a hedge.
Although police, firefighters and road and air ambulance crews attended the incident, the driver of the car, a man in his 70s, was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has not been named, but police say his family has been informed of his death.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said officers now want to hear from people who were first at the scene, assisted the man and contacted the emergency services, but who did not leave their details with officers.
Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to contact the force’s roads policing unit, based at Swaffham, via the non-emergency 101 number.
