Police are again appealing for witnesses to a crash in which two people were seriously injured.
A grey Peugeot 207 and DAF lorry cab and trailer were involved in a collision on the A47 at Middleton at 1.50pm on Thursday last week.
Firefighters cut free the car driver, who suffered from a suspected shoulder fracture, arm and pelvic injury. The passenger suffered a suspected broken pelvis. Both were taken to Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Parish councillors in Middleton and East Winch are now calling for speed limits on the A47 to be lowered following a series of serious crashes. Three people were killed in East Winch last month.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Andrew Goodway at Swaffham Roads Policing on the 101 number.
