Norfolk police and crime commissioner Lorne Green will meet residents in Lynn next week as part of continuing consultations over the force’s budget.

A public consultation on the issue ends next Friday, December 9.

And Mr Green will attend a safer neighbourhood drop-in session at the West Norfolk Council offices in Chapel Street on Tuesday from 11am, to give residents a chance to give their views directly to him.

Mr Green said: “This is one of the most important decisions for which police and crime commissioners are responsible and, while the buck does ultimately stop with me, with 40 per cent of our policing budget coming from taxpayers’ pockets, I want all Norfolk residents to have the opportunity to have their say.”
