Lorne Green, the Conservative candidate for the Norfolk police and crime commissioner election, took his bid for the post onto the streets of Swaffham at the weekend.

Mr Green met voters in the town on Saturday as campaigning ahead of the May 5 poll intensifies and was joined on the campaign trail by MP Elizabeth Truss.

Mr Green is one of five candidates known to be standing so far, alongside incumbent independent Stephen Bett, the Liberal Democrats’ Jacky Howe, Dr Chris Jones for Labour and David Moreland for UKIP.
