Breckland Council launches new way of getting garden waste bin

It is now quicker and easier than ever for green-fingered residents to sign up to receive a garden waste bin, thanks to an online system which has been launched by Breckland Council.

The council’s website now enables people to create or renew a subscription to the Garden Waste Collection Service and pay securely using a debit card.

People can sign up within minutes, whether at home or on the move, and at any time of the day. Previously, people could only subscribe by either posting an application form and a cheque or calling the council

The garden waste service can be used to dispose of hedge clippings, grass cuttings, leaves and shrub prunings, weeds and plants, cut flowers, and twigs and small bracken.
