A firm of Wisbech accountants received an extra surprise after celebrating its 80th anniversary.
Bulley Davey has been awarded the prestigious ‘Chartered Financial Planners’ title by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), which is seen as an industry gold standard and held by fewer than 400 firms. The firm was formed in 1935 by Maurice Bulley and the Wisbech office opened in 1972. Staff organised an evening of carols with the Clarkson Singers at St Peter and St Paul’s Church before Christmas to mark the anniversary. Director Mitchell Burden, who heads the Wisbech office with Richard Leighton, said: “It’s been a really great year for Bulley Davey. The anniversary has given us a chance to look back and see how far we have come. Among many things a number of mergers this year have helped us expand the services we can provide.
“In Wisbech Leighton & Co joined Bulley Davey and helped us to provide a wider range of services to clients in the area.” The Clarkson singers are pictured
