Mark Bailey, professor of late medieval history at the University of East Anglia was the guest speaker at Swaffham’s Green Britain Centre on Monday night.
Bailey absorbed the watching audience, talking about Swaffham’s existance as a market town in the middle ages.
The next event is the film ‘The Falklands Play - Thatcher’s War’, a thrilling drama which tells the backroom story of Thatcher’s war, starring Patricia Hodge and James Fox.
This takes place tomorrow at The Barn Theatre Sacred Heart School (entrance opposite the Cottage Hospital, Sporle Road).
