West Norfolk public rise to the challenge for charity
The day was a huge success, with more than 130 participants signed up to the challenging route by running, jogging or walking.
Runners set off at 11am across the beautiful green Norfolk countryside.
All participants were congratulated with a medal and a Megan’s Challenge pin badge and the event raised £3,286.45 for The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House.
Mark Shea, commercial director at Tapping House, said: “The event received so many wonderful compliments and we would like to thank Megan’s Challenge for organising such a fantastic day and raising so much money for the Hospice.
“We are grateful to the organisers who put so much time and effort into organising it.”
The event was so successful that Megan’s Challenge organisers, who are pictured above making a presentation to Tapping House, are planning on it becoming an annual event, and to include a mini fun run next year.
