People will be going quackers in September during a charity duck race.
Quackrophenia promises to be fun for all the family with a host of attractions at the Hilgay riverside on Saturday, September 19, from 1pm.
The event has been organised by butcher Ali Dent to raise money for the Sue Ryder charity.
Ducks and cardboard canoe races will be held. Most sponsorship for the canoe race will win a £100 voucher.
Hilgay Canoe Club will be holding an open day and Sue’s Canoes will also be there, along with Pulse Disco.
French Connection, which had previously played at the Cambridge Folk Festival, will be performing in Hilgay Village Hall at 8pm. Tickets cost £16 from A J Dent’s butchers on 01366 387686.
