Raiders have targeted five units at the East Coast Business Park in West Lynn.
Hello Garage, L and O Windows, Nature’s Grub, Qualitops and Wootton Motor Company were hit by the organised thieves, wearing paper suits, on Friday night last week.
At about 10pm, the raiders broke into the units.
A business owner from Wootton Motor Company, who did not wish to be named, is expecting the theft to cost him £5,000 after computers, a diagnostic machine and car lights from an Audi A3 were taken.
He said raiders had also tried to steal a car but dumped it on the estate after foiled by the site’s security gates.
The man learned about the raid after receiving a phone call from a neighbour and found the back door wide open.
He said: “As a small local company, we can’t stomach too many of these.
“These people should get a job quite simply.
“I would like to see a bigger police presence around here but someone can break into a property in 10 minutes.
Police believe that the raiders would have used a vehicle and are appealing for help.
Det Con Simon Stephenson, said: “This was an organised series of break-ins in which high value items were taken.
“We are sure the offenders will have used a vehicle during this crime and it will have almost certainly been parked nearby, we are keen to speak to anyone who noticed a vehicle in the area around this time.
“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area around the times stated.”
Anyone with information should call Det Con Simon Stephenson at Lynn CID on 101.
