Rare birds shot at Sandringham

POLICE are appealing for help from the public after two rare birds were shot on the edge of the Sandringham estate.

Norfolk Police are investigating a report of the wildlife offence which happened Wednesday evening.

A report was received from a member of the public that two hen harriers had been shot on the edge of the estate near Dersingham.

The incident is currently being investigated by Norfolk Police with the assistance of Natural England and the RSPB.
