The Tom Thumb daycare centre at Reffley was awash with black gowns and hats for its graduation day as it bid farwell to 19 youngsters leaving for primary school.
Derri Kay, who has worked at the centre for 21 years, said: “It is always a very emotional time of year for everyone but it is nice to know we are appreciated.”
On Sunday, the Tom Thumb centres at North Lynn, West Winch and Reffley joined forces for a special prom with more than 50 children taking part.
