There was a bit of a do in Roydon at the weekend as villagers turned out in force to support a summer fete held in aid of their parish church.
A mini-farm, featuring cattle, sheep and ducks, a dog show, games and live music were among the attractions at the event on Saturday afternoon.
And a total of £1,410.94 was raised during the afternoon.
It’s the third year, that the event has been held to raise funds towards the running costs of keeping the village’s All Saints’ Church open.
Rector, the Rev Jane Holmes, said: “It had been many many years since there had been a fete in the village. It brings the community together.”
