Sandringham and West Newton Pre-School has been rated as ‘good’ following its latest Ofsted inspection.
The school, based at Louise Cottages in West Newton, has maintained the grade it received from the education inspectors four years ago.
In a report, published this week, inspector Karen Harris said managers and staff strive to maintain a high-quality provision for children, with “rigorous” self-evaluation and monitoring being effectively used to make ongoing improvements.
She said children benefit from being cared for by friendly and caring staff in a welcoming and “highly-stimulating” learning environment.
Children make good progress towards their learning goals and partnerships with parents and carers are “exceptionally strong”.
