Proposals for a new house in a village near Downham have been given the go-ahead by councillors, only months after a previous plan was rejected by a government inspector.
Members of the West Norfolk Council planning committee approved an application for a replacement property at Poplar Farm House, Lady Drove, Barroway Drove at a meeting last Monday.
An earlier proposal to build a new property following the demolition of the existing one was rejected in January last year.
An appeal against that ruling was subsequently dismissed last September.
But planners said the new scheme was an improvement on the previous rejected proposal.
They also reported the development would have a “positive” impact on the area.
