A new heart defibrillator has been installed in Sedgeford Village Hall. Money for the equipment was raised through the proceeds of teas at a National Garden Scheme event (£850), a curry night at the King William Public House (£700) and a flower day (£160).
A training night on how to use the defibrillator will be held in the village hall on Tuesday, November 3, from 7.30pm, which everyone is welcome to attend. Louise Barber, who was behind some of the fundraising activities, thanked electrician Edward Kelly, from Ingoldisthorpe, for giving up his time for free to install the equipment.
