A request to hold an election to fill a vacancy on Sedgeford Parish Council has been received. The date of the Parish Council Election (subject to a contest) has been fixed as Thursday, October 22.

The Notice of Election will be published on Thursday, and nomination papers must be received by the Returning Officer no later than 4pm on Friday, September 25. Anyone wishing to withdraw a nomination must do so in the prescribed manner no later than 4pm on that day.

The Polling Station, which will be at Sedgeford Village Hall, will be open from 7am to 10pm. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by Tuesday, October 6.

The last day for applications to vote by post is no later than 5pm on Wednesday, October 7. This is also the deadline for any changes to postal voting arrangements or proxy voting arrangements. The last day for new applications to vote by proxy is no later than 5pm on Wednesday, October 14. Postal Votes will be despatched on Monday, October 12.
