Seven people have been arrested and bailed in connection with the alleged supply of illegal drugs in Lynn, police have revealed today.
The arrests follow a raid at an address in the southern part of the town on Monday, in which police say a substantial amount of a substance believed to be heroin was seized.
A large quantity of cash was also recovered from the property.
A Norfolk Police spokesman said five men and two women, who are all said to be from the Lynn area, were arrested in connection with the supply of class A drugs.
The group, who are said to be in their 30s or 40s, were all taken to the police investigation centre for questioning before being released on bail pending further inquiries.
They have been ordered to report back to police on Thursday, July 28.
