A new shop could be opening in Burnham Market if planners give the green light to a development.
Fisher Buller wants to convert traditional cottages in Fisher Court, off North Street, into a shop and housing.
A planning application has been lodged with West Norfolk Council earlier this week.
The design and access statement says: “The scheme consists of refurbishing two traditional cottages (numbers one and two).
“Number one will be turned into a flat with a shop below with number two into a two-bedroom flat with the building a new terraced house adjacent.
“To the back of the property there are three new detached cottages. Numbers three and four occupy the space of a former workshop (which is to be demolished).
“The other, number six, occupies part of a vacant builders yard.”
