Royal watcher Mary Relph received a special surprise in the post from the Duchess of Cornwall.
A handwritten thank you note from Camilla arrived at the Shouldham home of Mrs Relph on Wednesday.
Mrs Relph had posted a card to Prince Charles and the Duchess to celebrate their recent 10th wedding anniversary.
The couple were married on April 9, 2005, during a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall . This was followed by a blessing at St George’s Chapel.
The note, which was written on the back of a photograph of the Royal couple states: “Dear Mary, thank you for remembering our 10th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe we have been married for a decade. With best wishes Camilla.”
Passionate royalist Mrs Relph said: “It is a lovely picture and nice to receive the note.”
Mrs Relph is no stranger to correspondence from the Royal family.
In January, the kind Duchess sent Mrs Relph a stunning bouquet and note to wish her a speedy recovery after an operation.
A courier delivered the black box containing the Jane Packer bouquet, which featured pink roses, hyacinths and orchid.
Mrs Relph, like the rest of the country, is looking forward to the newest arrival to the Royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s second child.
She said: “I love it when children are born into the Royal family. I will be glad when it arrives.
“I think it is lovely. I hope to be alive when Charles becomes King.”
