Have your say

Today’s the day for people to register their interest in attending the Lynn News’ election hustings event next month.

Issues including poverty, justice, defence and Britain’s relationship with Europe have already been raised in questions submitted by voters who have applied to attend the event on April 21.

But there is still time for you to apply for seats and to tell us what you want to ask your candidates.

All five confirmed candidates for the North West Norfolk constituency – Conservative Henry Bellingham, Labour’s Jo Rust, Toby Coke for UKIP, Hugh Lanham of the Liberal Democrats and Michael de Whalley of the Green Party – have agreed to face voters during the session to be held at the College of West Anglia’s Lynn campus on Tuesday, April 21, at 6.30pm.

Anyone who hasn’t registered can do so by emailing their name, address and contact details to allister.webb@jpress.co.uk by 5pm today.

If necessary, a ballot will then take place and the names of those selected will be held on the door.

Audience members should bring photo identification with them on the night.

Questions to put to the panel on the night can also be emailed to allister.webb@jpress.co.uk. All the questions received will be collated ahead of the event.

If you are chosen and are subsequently unable to attend, please phone 01553 817329 so your seats can be reallocated.
