Two church schools, Anthony Curton Primary, Walpole St Peter, and Tilney All Saints Primary have raised £1,500 between them in the past year for Rudham ward at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Lynn,

Charlotte Large, nine, and Nicholas Hedges, 10, from Anthony Curton’s school council, and Thomas-Arthur Jagger, six, and Savanah Woodeson, seven, from Tilney All Saints school council, visited the children’s ward to present their cheque.

Charlotte said: “We wanted to give the money we raised to the children’s ward at the hospital because a lot of local children come here when they are not very well.”
