Plans to turn a livery yard into a camping site for tourists have been approved by councillors.
The proposal for the Snettisham Park site, on Bircham Road, Snettisham, was given the go-ahead by the West Norfolk Council planning committee on Thursday, following a site visit.
Concerns had been raised by parish councillors about the potential impact of additional traffic in the area.
They had called for vehicles heading to the site to be diverted away from the village, citing the recent rejection of a solar farm plan in the same area on traffic grounds as a justification.
But borough planning officers had recommended the Stanton Farms application for approval, while county highways officials voiced no objections to the proposal, subject to the applicants undertaking work to widen part of Bircham Road.
The applicants themselves said large vehicles were able to access an existing caravan park adjacent to their own site without any problems.
