As dozens of golfers prepare to tee off for the Swaffham and Litcham Home Hospice at its golf day today, building society bosses have done their own bit for the cause.

Customers of the town’s Norwich and Peterborough Building Society were asked to choose a good cause to support through the group’s Charity Choices initiative.

The hospice was given £500 from the programme. The other beneficiary was the Swaffham and District Home Start initiative.
