Residents braved the weather on Saturday to attend the first in a series of community lunches at Hunstanton’s Town Hall when soup and sandwiches were on the menu.
Intended to bring local people together, the event was organised by town clerk Lisa Powell and Town Hall manager Angela Green, who said: “We wanted to invite residents into our beautiful Town Hall for a simple, low cost lunch where there was an opportunity to chat and catch up with local news.”
The next lunch will be held from 11am-2pm on February 28 in conjunction with a free art exhibition by local artist James Dunbar entitled ‘Working Under the Cliffs’. Pictured above, Angela serves soup while husband Kevin and their daughter Chloe wait on tables. Photo: ELAINE BIRD townandaround.net
