South Wootton’s parish clerk put her best foot forward for Macmillan when she decided to run the Grand East Anglia Run in May.

Thanks to donations from her colleagues and parishioners, Tracey Cornwell, 44, raised £600 for charity and is pictured presenting the cheque to Howard Moore, chairman of the Lynn committee. She said: “I did it because I lost my dad to cancer so it was a cause close to my heart. I really enjoyed it.” Also at the presentation were Anne Dewar, secretary of the Lynn group and committee member Marie Jackson.
