Models which formed the popular Spitfire trail will be auctioned off during a 1940s event next month.
Youngsters from the 42nd King’s Lynn Squadron Air Cadets organised the Flight Path initiative, which saw decorated models dotted around the town.
Now 16 models have been taken down and cleaned ready to go under the hammer on Thursday, December 3.
The auction will form part of a 1940s event in Lynn Town Hall, which includes a three course meal.
Timescape, 1940s singers, will be entertaining the crowds during the evening, which starts at 7pm.
The auction will be raising money for: Royal Air Force Association , Walking with the Wounded and the cadets.
Flight Lieutenant Pauline Petch, the Commanding Officer of 42F, is now looking for sponsors for the next trail.
She said: “Come along to a wonderful 1940s evening and celebrate the success of the trail.
