The popular Hunstanton One-Act Drama Festival will take place this year from Friday, July 11–Sunday, July 13, at the Princess Theatre.

Performances will take place at 7.30pm each day and there will also be matinees on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13, at 2.30pm. Each performance will consist of different adult and youth drama groups from throughout the district featuring in one-act plays of their choice.

Each session will usually include three different plays while the last evening will include special entertainment and the presentation of awards.

The Hunstanton festival is also a competition and trophies will be awarded in ten different categories – including Best Original Script, Best Play and Best Actor/Actress – at the end of the last Sunday performance.

These will be presented by the mayor of Hunstanton, Carol Bower. A full list of participants and plays will be available at a later date.

Tickets cost £8.50 per performance (Festival Ticket £25 which includes access to all performances).

They are available now from the Princess Theatre Box Office on 01485 53 22 52 or on line at
