Two staff from a Swaffham care home are planning a 10,000 foot parachute jump next weekend in aid of the MS Trust.
Charlene Waldron and Jessica Thompson, who work at the Meadow House nursing home, will take to the skies at the Beccles Airfield next Sunday, June 26, to help support those living with multiple sclerosis.
Charlene is a registered nurse at the Norwich Road complex while Jessica works as a care assistant.
And the pair said: “We work with people who suffer from MS on a daily basis, it is our way of showing support for them.
“We are both excited about doing the jump as we have never done anything like this before.
“We have received plenty of support from family and friends who have sponsored us and we have a Royal Party planned on Friday to raise extra funds. We have raised £760 of our £800 target so far.
“On the day of the skydive we will have the support at the airfield from the residents and their families, staff and our home manager.”

They are taking part in the MS Trust’s Jump for June campaign, which is being supported by 20 airfields across the UK, including Beccles.
