Officials from two Swaffham charities are hoping they have found the fairway to a fundraising bonanza later this year.
Members of the Swaffham Rotary Club this week launched their annual golf day, which will take place at the town’s golf club onThursday, September 11.
Up to 24 teams, each of up to four players, can take part in the event.
The proceeds will be shared between the Rotary club’s End Polio Now campaign and the Swaffham and Litcham Home Hospice.
The day will include competitions for straightest drive and nearest the pin, as well as a two-course meal in the club’s refurbished bar and restaurant. There will also be a grand raffle and fundraising auction.
Anyone interested in taking part should contact Denis Bishop on 01760 721115.
