A project to create a book about the lives of Norfolk women is coming to Swaffham next month.

Organisers of the Rural Writes project are looking for ladies from the town to take part in 10 weeks of writing workshops, which will begin at the town’s library on Friday, May 20.

The sessions will be led by writer and tutor Bel Greenwood and poet Heidi Williamson.

Organisers say no experience is necessary and all participants will be sent a copy of the published work.

Childcare will be provided during the sessions and assistance with transport can also be made available. Places must be booked in advance.

For more information about the workshops, phone 01760 721513 or email createprojects@hotmail.com.
