Pupils at Swaffham’s Sacred Heart School have taken to the stage to give their take on the Easter story.

Ahead of the current school holidays, youngsters performed the Hosanna play, which depicts the events of Holy Week from Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday to the crucifiction on Good Friday and Resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Children from year three, aged seven or eight, upwards took part in the performance in a range of acting, singing, dancing or backstage roles.

Some of the cast are pictured above on stage during the performance.
