To celebrate Fathers Day this year, a Swaffham florist will be doing their bit for Prostate Cancer UK by showing their support for Men United.
From Monday, June 15, Starlings of Swaffham will be donating £2 for every fruit basket they sell and £2 from every flower order of more than £20 to the charity.
This will continue until the Saturday and, on the Thursday (June 18), a local dad will be sitting in the shop window at their Market Place premisis and inviting customers to drop a few coins into a charity bucket.
Kim Starling, whose dad suffered, but survived the disease, said: “Our luxury fruit baskets are made by us here at our traditional shop and we can send them anywhere in the UK (delivery details available at luxuryfruitbaskets.co.uk).
“We can also send flowers across the world, through our network Eflorist.
“Prostate cancer is the most common cancer of men in the UK so it would be great to raise some money for the charity that is fighting to ensure more men survive the disease and enjoy a better quality of life.”
Men United is the movement for everyone who believes men are worth fighting for.
By joining or supporting Men United, you’ll get to see your mates more, do something great together and help beat prostate cancer.
