Opticians Specsavers, in Norfolk Street, Lynn, will be doing its bit for Red Nose Day next month by helping visitors to make their faces funny for money.

The shop is offering offical Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes, for £3 with £1 donated to Comic Relief.

Mark Willis, store director of Specsavers Lynn, said: ‘The team have had great fun planning our fundraising activities and we want to go all out to raise as much money for the cause as possible. We are encouraging everyone, whatever age, to join in the fun and buy their Red Nose Day glasses – making their faces funny for money.’

Specsavers Lynn are undertaking a month-long Friday to Friday fundraising spectacular for the cause.

Each Friday until March 6, staff from will encourage visitors to have their snaps taken in their Red Nose Day specs. The photos will be displayed in store until Red Nose Day, with the funniest snap winning a pair of designer glasses from the store’s range.

Money raised through Red Nose Day helps poor and vulnerable people both in the UK and across Africa.
