The Queen attended St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham Estate on Sunday, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and other members of the Royal Family.

While the Queen and Prince Philip made their way by car to the church, Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, made the journey on foot.

The Queen wore a bright scarlet outfit for the occasion. The Princess Royal wore emerald green coat and hat.

The Queen is expected to have one more visit to church in West Norfolk this Sunday before returning to London after her Christmas and New Year stay.

The 90-year-old monarch missed two visits to church because of ill health at the start of her stay.

Now apparently fully recovered, She had a busy end to last week, travelling to Norwich on Thursday to see an exhibition of Fijian art, some of it donated by her, at the Sainsbury Centre.
