It’s time to dudt off those trainers for the 5km Tapping House Hospice Santa Dash around The Walks.

The fifth annual Santa Dash will take place on Saturday, December 5, with the starting pistol scheduled to be fired at 11am.

Eager participants have the choice of either the 5km route or the 1.5km fun run around the historic urban park in the heart of the town.

The Walks is the only surviving 18th century town walk in Norfolk, and provides the perfect place to enjoy a jog or indeed a leisurely stroll – depending on your level of fitness.

Mark Shea, commercial director at the Norfolk Hospice, said: “Every penny raised on the day, including sponsorship and registration fees, will go directly to support the work of the Norfolk Hospice.

“Huge thanks to Lynn solicitors, Kenneth Bush, who have sponsored the event for the last two years. It’s fantastic we can reply on the support of the local community.”

Every adult who registers will be given a free Santa suit, while each child will receive a free Santa hat.

The entry charges are £12 per adult, £5 per child, while under-5s are free.

If you register before Friday, November 6, adults will receive an early bird entry fee of £10.

Sign up for the Santa Dash now online at www.norfolkhospice.org.uk or by calling the Hospice fundraising team on 01485 601701.
