Today, we begin our search for the best in West Norfolk’s education sector and we need your help to find and celebrate it.
The third annual Lynn News Education Awards, in association with Learning Resources, will take place at Lynnsport on Wednesday, November 18.
And now is the time for you to tell us why your child, teacher, school or pre-school deserves to be recognised this time around.
A total of 12 awards will be presented at the ceremony, of which Lynn-based education firm Learning Resources is the principal sponsor.
Established in 1994, the company offers a host of educational equipment to schools and homes across the UK and Europe from its headquarters in Bergen Way, on the North Lynn industrial estate.
Claire Johnston, the company’s head of marketing and communications, said: “Learning Resources are delighted to be supporting the Lynn News Education Awards again this year.
“We are extremely proud of the strong community links we have in the area, particularly within local schools, and we look forward to meeting and celebrating the achievements of the finalists on the evening.”
The company is also sponsoring a new category this year, Pre-school of the Year.
Lynn News editor Mark Leslie added: “The Lynn News Education Awards has now firmly established itself on the calendar as one of the highlights of the year in the borough and it is great to be back, once again so superbly backed by Learning Resources.
“The quality of the work being undertaken in schools by staff and pupils never fails to amaze. I am really looking forward to hearing the many success stories.”
