Riders from across West Norfolk are being invited to take part in the 21st annual King’s Lynn Mayor’s Appeal Motorbike Run next weekend.

Borough mayor Colin Manning and his deputy, David Whitby, are expected to attend the event, which will start from C & A Superbikes at 1.30pm next Saturday, November 7.

The riders will cover a 32 mile route around the borough, finishing at the Adrian Flux Arena.

The appeal collects food for the town’s Food Bank and local elderly people ahead of the Christmas period.

Supporters are asked to bring items normally found in a seasonal hamper, such as Christmas puddings or mince pies, which will not go off before the festive period.

A burger van will be in place at C & A Superbikes, while tea and coffee will be available at the Adrian Flux Arena.
